So? part 2

The answer for my previous posting: So?

Actually, my friends do 'think' about my feeling. As the result, they gave me these three cakes ;)

It is a 'matcha' flavored cake. But without fresh cream and a pot of coins.
And the most important thing is, I didn't get the 'polar bear' as the free merchandise :D (slap me)

In my previous story, I mentioned about some friends who had difficulties in eating/ drinking something which contained tea, coffee or alcohol. So, I got this 'tiramisu'. Coffee: checked. Alcohol (in this case rum): checked.

How about the third problem, a cake contains a lot of cream? Nope, I didn't get any cake with cream inside or outside it. But, they gave me this 'chocolate cake'. Yup, I like chocolate and do you know that choco and cream has the same problem effect? Fattening :p Oh, actually the tiramisu above also contains a lot of cream in it. So, cream: done.

But in the end, where is my POLAR BEAR? Just kidding :D

Penantian kali ini benar-benar menyeramkan. Oh, bukan karena berapa jumlah usia saya sekarang, justru itu adalah hal terakhir yang saya sadari.

"Mbak, kuenya mau diantar kapan?"
"Eh, bentar yah Mbak. Saya cek kalender dulu." Sayapun tergesa-gesa mengeluarkan handphone dan mengecek, berapa hari lagi saya akan berulang tahun. Ah!
"Kuenya ini untuk Mbak sendiri atau untuk orang lain?" Si mbak pramuniaga bertanya lebih lanjut.
"Untuk saya sendiri kok."
"Oh.."
"Lilinnya mau yang satu-satu atau yang berbentuk angka? Kalo boleh tahu usianya berapa yah Mbak?"
"Eh, bentar yah Mbak." Lagi-lagi saya mengeluarkan handphone dari saku jaket saya, menghitung berapa usia saya tahun ini. Hahaha.
"Ini kuenya untuk Mbak sendirikan?" Tanda-tanda si mbak pramuniaga tertular 'amnesia' dadakan saya.

Ngeri, itu yang saya rasakan sekarang. Boleh dibilang 'takut' untuk menghadapinya. Bukan untuk hari H nya tapi untuk hari-hari berikutnya, sudah siapkah saya? Tahun kemarin (dan tahun-tahun sebelumnya) mayoritas saya melaluinya tanpa perasaan apa-apa, biasa saja. Yah, berulang lagi hari kelahiran saya. Namun, bukan hanya saya yang bertambah usianya, juga orang-orang yang saya cintai.

"Wei..**" Jawab saya dengan suara serak dan lemah.
"Dephina! Kamu kenapa?! Sakit?! Abis nangis?!" Si Mama bertanya dengan panik.
"Lagi bobo Mam." Jawab saya singkat.
"Oh, Mama pikir kamu sakit."
Sayapun bercerita tentang keseharian saya, diselingi cerita-cerita Mama dan orang-orang di rumah. Tiba-tiba sampai pada topik: ulang tahun saya.
"Deli! Dephina bentar ulang tahun loh. Hahaha. Mama lupa." Yup, si Mama berteriak ke arah Deli, adik saya, yang sepertinya berada di dekatnya.
"Dephina tua loh. Hahaha"

Mengapa waktu tidak pernah berhenti berputar dan mengulang? Detik, menit, jam bahkan tahun terus berulang. Sampai kapan saya dan orang-orang yang saya cintai bisa mengulangi waktu ini? Waktu yang kita habiskan bersama-sama di dunia ini. Satu dasawarsa sepertinya sangatlah singkat. Yah, berapa lama waktu yang saya habiskan 'di luar' jauh dari mereka? Nyaris delapan tahun. Berapa dasawarsa lagi waktu yang saya miliki?

“Hu oh! I like that cake, matcha flavoured cake with a lot of fresh cream. I want that cake! The decoration is so me, look, look, aw, a lot of gold coins inside the pot. Hahaha.”
“Ehm, how about the toppings inside the cake?” I asked the waitress.
“It’s double layers cake, with fruity and rum in between. Do you want this cake Miss? If you ordered this today, you can get a Christmas special merchandise from us.” The waitress smiled.
“Wow! What kind of merchandise? Can I see it?”
“Of course Miss” the waitress smiled again and took something from the drawer beneath the display.
“Tadaaa!”

OMG. OMG. It’s a polar bear keychain made from porcelain, and it’s three-dimensional polar bear!

I saw it before, something like this polar bear, but it was Sinterklaas. I found it inside the France flagship boutique. Do you know how much is it, for one tiny keychain? 489 RMB! (Around 635.000 IDR, if the rate still 1 RMB= 1.300 IDR)

Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course I wanted that cake (and the bonus) so badly for my birthday celebration this year. But…

Do you still remember about one of your senior, who didn’t invite you to his birthday party, because you are a vegetarian, who can’t eat whatever he offered at his party? Yup, he was throwing BBQ party at that time. I didn’t know about the party, until most of my friends (also his friends) asking about my absence that day. Huh? Yeah, I’m the one and only of all his friends here, who is vegetarian, blame me for that excuse.

So, you still wanted to buy that cake? Even though, one of your friends can’t eat any foods that contain tea? She will get caffeinism (nervousness, irritability, anxiety, insomnia, headaches and heart palpitations, etc.) if she consumed it. Or the other friend who didn’t like too much cream on her cake, because cream can make someone get fat and make her nauseous. How about the rum? Ouh, two or three of my friends can’t eat/ drink something which contained alcohol. So, it’s your decision Dev :)

Ah! I know the best decision for this matter Dev: just buy that cake for youself and buy another one for your friends! Hahaha. Okeh, so it will double the cost. And of course I don’t know how to eat up all that cake by myself. But if I bought the small one, I couldn’t get that cute polar bear!
